For my third Garratt locomotive I was inspired by the Darjeeling Garratt (Typ 040+040) in its primary version. Photos can be found  in the booklet  "The Origins of the Garratt Locomotive" by Richard L. Hills (Plateway Press) and at the homepage of Gavin Hamilton at powernet.uk. The later conversion (open cabin; longer roof; huge headlights) can be seen in Durrants book "Garratt Locomotives of the World".
