On the basis of another LGB-Stainz the 99 5605 was built. In this case as well I found  the original at "Taschenbuch Deutsche Schmalspur-Dampflokomotiven" by Horst J. Obermayer. Further data and drawings are published at Kieper/Preuß "Schmalspur zwischen Ostsee und Erzgebirge"; Alba Verlag; chapter 2.1.2. (The book has been republished in 2011 by transpress as "DDR-Schmalsurbahn-Archiv".) The prototype was built in 1893 by Vulcan at Stettin for the Franzburger Kreisbahnen and in 1949 registered as 55 5905 by the DDR Reichsbahn. Service endet in 1969.
