The 99 011 was created on the basis of a Stainz.
Data and pictures of the original engine are from the "Taschenbuch Deutsche Schmalspur-Dampflokomotiven" by Horst J. Obermayer. The prototype was built in 1916 by Maffei for the Bavarian Railroad as Pfalz Pts 2/2.
